Our Story
We are Ellis and Lisa Williams. Originally from Bangor Pennsylvania, we moved to the Finger Lakes area about 5 years ago. We have always enjoyed growing flowers and produce, and came upon growing Dahlia's when my husband's grandmother had a large collection. They were always the centerpieces at family reunions. So, it all started with the love of that particular flower. We now live in a 200-year-old farm house and have converted a portion of our land to a small farm.
I am an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, and working in the garden has been so cathartic for me. With a background and research science, a biology degree, and over 25 years experience in the medical field, I feel very comfortable utilizing sterile practices and new growing techniques, helping us to safely grow our little farm.
In addition to dahlias, we grow other flowers including ranunculus, anemones, lavendar, celosia, and zinneas. We also have a small vineyard and orchard, and grow some produce.
